Offering for rehome! Flea bitten Grey Tennessee Walking Horse Gelding! Traveler is 15 years old and is very tall. He stands around 16 hands or more. We were told that Traveler has been used in Civil War Re-enactments! He loads in trailer great and hauls fine. No kicking or nonsense. Easy to handle on the ground. Stands well for grooming and tacking. Let’s you pick up his hooves and is good for the farrier. Not for a beginner rider. He has a motor. Needs seasoned rider who knows what they’re doing. No buck or spook though. Would be great for someone to bond with and make a good trail horse. He is good with mares and geldings. Lower end of the pecking order. He does great in stalls. The downside to Traveler: *He needs to put on a significant amount weight* He came to us this way, and we are trying to put on the lbs. he is currently on pasture 24/7 with a big bale of orchard/fescue mix hay kept all the time. He also gets senior feed twice daily with cool calories mixed in. In every other way, Traveler seems to be healthy. He may be due for his teeth to be floated. Asking $700 rehome fee.
