Pat is sorrel mule 20 years old @ 13 hands
I bought Pat when she was 3 years old, she packs and rides. She is easy to catch and shoe. She has shoes on now. She is easy to roach, but is touchy about the ears, but not a problem to bridle. She doesn’t kick.
She has been in the Grand Canyon multiple times. Other trips include Havasupai Falls, Mount Baldy, Canyon de Chelly, Superstition Mountains, Power Garden, Blue Wilderness & Black River to name a few. She has been picketed overnight & are branded & has no other blemishes. The picture is of me and my son taken about a couple months ago near Riggs Mountain, in the White Mountains. About Thatcher, AZ
Thatcher was originally settled by members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The first settler was John M. Moody who arrived in Thatcher with his wife and children in 1881. The founding of Thatcher is attributed to Mormon pioneer Christopher Layton, who bought two thousand acres, named the acreage "Thatcher", divided them into lots, and sold those lots to Mormon settlers. Layton also bought a gristmill and built roads, canals and homes.
