Cap came from a family in TN who raised him from a baby. They rode him all over Big South Fork, Smoky Mountains and Land between the Lakes. Cap has a great personality he is easy to handle, clip, bathe, wash and is great for the farrier. Cap tacks up quietly and stands perfect to mount. Rides off like one should head down and slow and easy. Cap rides away from the barn with or without company. Not barn or buddy sour. He will ride anywhere in a group without getting worked up and excited. Cap is very smooth he has an awesome 4 beat gait that is like riding in a Cadillac. No tricks or gimmicks he just falls right into it. Cap is as good of a trail horse you will find. He will walk super quietly down the trail. Pays attention to where he is walking so in return very sure footed. He crosses all types of water, fallen trees, slippery rocks, and steep rough terrain in general. Cap is livestock and wildlife safe. He is also great around traffic or atvs. If you are looking for a big pretty Buckskin gelding that has size, brains and a very smooth gait. You won’t go wrong with Cap.
