Pony Gelding for Sale in Tucson, AZ

Joey A cute, palomino, overo paint, super pony Joey is a gelding, 13 hands, 13-14 years old. Joey is a FABULOUS little guy. He's great on trails, not spooky, will go anywhere you point him, willing to jump, great with traffic, great with pushing cattle, awesome around other horses or out alone. Has a great neck rein and will work off of leg. Has smooth trot and lope. Easy to ride in every way. No buck, kick or rear. Rides great in a simple "O" ring snaffle bit. Has good healthy feet, currently has shoes, ties, loads, hauls and stands for farrier. Joey is sound and healthy. Rides bareback, western or English. Has beautiful blue eyes. Would be a great ladies horse, old or young. Also would do great for kids who like a good, well trained pony. For video, pictures or more info please email.

About Tucson, AZ

The Tucson area was probably first visited by Paleo-Indians, who were known to have been in southern Arizona about 12,000 years ago. Recent archaeological excavations near the Santa Cruz River found a village site dating from 2100 BC. The floodplain of the Santa Cruz River was extensively farmed during the Early Agricultural Period, circa 1200 BC to AD 150. These people constructed irrigation canals and grew corn, beans, and other crops, while also gathering wild plants and nuts, and hunting. The Early Ceramic period occupation of Tucson saw the first extensive use of pottery vessels for cooking and storage.
