Quarter Horse Gelding for Sale in Killeen, TX
Rockey is a 17 year old gelding. He has been off for the last year due to no fault of his own. I haven’t had time for him and I feel he is wasting away. He rides nice on trails, barrels, carries a flag, has been started on roping but only a little, nice mover, lots of go when in shape. Did college rodeo in the past. Light maintenance required. Hauls well and eats on the road. Not for beginners, lots of speed and power. Can deliver for a fee.

About Killeen, TX
In 1881, the Gulf, Colorado and Santa Fe Railway extended its tracks through central Texas, buying 360 acres (1.5 km 2) a few miles southwest of a small farming community known as Palo Alto, which had existed since about 1872. The railroad platted a 70-block town on its land and named it after Frank P. Killeen, the assistant general manager of the railroad. By the next year, the town included a railroad depot, a saloon, several stores, and a school. Many of the residents of the surrounding smaller communities in the area moved to Killeen.
