Barrel/Lesson Horse

Speedy Girl is a 2011 model, 15.2 h.h. Florida bred chestnut mare out of Benny the Bull, and Glass Slipper by Katowice. She originally had 14 starts and earned over $33,000 on the track. She needs a light BUT confident rider. Speedy Girl was restarted slowly and correctly by yours truly, Candice Ray. Speedy Girl hasn't had her legs hauled off and should run left or right, I mostly ran her left. No gate or alley issues, no rearing, bucking, bolting, or silliness under saddle. Speedy is freerunning style. Great ground manners. W/T/L. Bends, flexes vertically and horizontally. Listens to legs. Has had all her groundwork done, and a complete angel to be around. Placed 6th in Lexington at the Retired Racehorse Project Competition in 2016 and is a RRP graduate! She has also gave lessons to intermediate youth. Speedy is a cribber. Very bottom of pecking order, not marish. Currently in pasture condition. Leads, loads, hauls, stands tied, bathes, clips, tacking, mounting no issues.
