Offered for your consideration as youth goes on to college. 2004 16.2h Registered Jockey Club (OTTB-Never Raced) Chestnut Mare "Ellie" is an elegant well put together hunter/jumper. She has been successfully shown and maintained by a youth. They have competed in many 3-Phase Eventing Shows from Beginner Novice to Novice with many successes! On the cross country course you will not find a safer and braver mount. She loves it and has never had a refusal. She does clean quick rounds in the stadium portion and is middle of the road for dressage. Ellie has shown up to Training Level 3 and Novice level dressage tests. Together have shown at the Georgia 4H State Show 3 years in a row placing in the top ten the last 2 consecutive years as well as winning the jumper classes at state and qualifying to go to the Southern Regional Championship Show. In 2016 and 2017, "Ellie" competed at the Southern Regional Championship Show with over 16 other states and 600+ competitors with top 10 placings. Also in 2017 she won the end of Year Championship at Rolling Hills Saddle Club in the Schooling Jumpers, Reserve Champion in the Hopeful Jumpers and 3 overall in the Hunters. She is comfortable schooling 2'3 or competing up to 3'7" with ease. She has an effortless auto change and gorgeous flat movement! Ellie is also great to hack out on trails. She is not a spooky horse at all and has even enjoyed many costumes and classes with her youth. She requires NO maintenance and has been injury free her whole life! About Bowdon, GA

The community was incorporated on January 1, 1859, and was named after Alabama congressman Franklin Welsh Bowdon. A college was established in Bowdon in 1857. Bowdon Municipal Court changed some of its practices in 2015 after Judge Richard A. Diment was shown in recordings demanding payment in exchange for avoiding jail. Later, in a New York Times article, Judge Diment claimed that he had never actually jailed someone for failing to pay a fine.
