The Amazing Mr. Red , Trail Horse Extraordinaire!
This 14 year old, 15.2h gelding is an absolute dream and handsome to boot ! He has a gorgeous sorrel coat, lots of chrome, a flaxen mane and a thick tail to make any girl jealous. Mr.Red is a Tennessee Walking horse that has a solid flat walk, nice running walk on the trails that will have you doing laps around all your quarter horse buddies with that signature rocking horse canter. Did I mention he does all this barefoot?! I will say that in the arena he is more likely to trot, but it's real steady and not choppy. He isn't scared of anything. I have ridden him on the rode with cars flying by, around heavy machinery, in a field with other horses roaming free and through water. He loves to please and always gives his best every ride. He can be ridden in a snaffle, hackamore, web or rope halter. He neck reins as well as direct reins. Throw a western or English saddle on this guy or hop on bareback, it doesn't matter to him. If you can sit on a horse you can ride him. He is great with kids, beginner safe with no buck/rear/kick/bite/bolt/spook. He is quiet on the ground, stands nice, and ground ties. About Marine City, MI
The area of Marine City had been Ojibwa territory for centuries before the first European contact. Beginning in the 17th century, French trappers and missionaries entered the territory, followed by settlers in the colonial period on both sides of the Detroit and St. Clair rivers. Farmers developed long, narrow plots that were laid out in the typical rectangular shape of colonial French, with the narrow end along the riverfront. The first Catholic Church was built by French Catholics at Catholic Point, where they had bought land before the United States was formed.
