Quarter Horse Gelding for Sale in Hurley, WI

This guy is as quiet, easy, and naturally talented as they come. His sire, Alotta Luke (16.3 son of Luke At Me) was the 2000 AQHA High Point Progressive and Green Working Hunter Champion and an AQHA Reserve World Champion in JR HUS. His dam, Sophie B Swooning (Swoon N Red) earned AQHA points in JR HUS, SR HUS, Amateur HUS, Novice Amateur HUS, 14-18 HUS, Novice Youth HUS, and 13 and Under HUS plus Novice Amateur WP, 14-18 Showmanship, Novice Youth Showmanship, Amateur Mares Halter, and Youth Mares Halter. This pedigree, top and bottom, jumps off the page for a reason--Duke is bred to be a great-minded, diverse show horse. He loves to just relax, hang his head, and take big, slow strides with deep, strong hocks. Duke has been started slowly and carefully to ensure a long show career. I have started a lot of very nice young horses, but Duke was the best-minded and easiest to ride 2 year-old I have ever worked with--and he keeps getting better! I truly believe just about anyone could ride this horse. He was born and raised at Willow Creek Farm, and his dam is on-site, also. She did a lot of winning and was dominant in HUS throughout her show career, and Duke is actually more talented and better minded. Duke is youth-safe, loads, ties, clips (no twitch needed), does showmanship, and even trail rides. If he has not yet sold, Duke will debut in JR and Youth HUS this coming show season. IF and NSBA. 5 Panel Negative

About Hurley, WI
