9 YO - Spotted Saddle - Vegas

Troubles Midnight Express (Vegas) – foaled 2006 – is a 9 year old solid black Spotted Saddle Horse that stands roughly 15.2 hands. He’s a calm and laid back soul with the disposition of a large Labrador Retriever – an affectionate guy that truly loves attention. He’s both gentle on the end of a lead or under saddle. His tolerant and willing attitude makes him a first choice when an inexperienced rider visits. He’s a tried and proven trail horse that is content walking or moving out. Roads, tight trails, hills, ditches, water crossings, stepping over logs – are no problem. He will stand calm for mounting/dismounting, hitching, giving his feet, loading on the trailer, clipping, bathing, trimming, etc. He has no vices that can be reported other than licking. Vegas is healthy, moves well and has great feet. His feet are so good that he goes without shoes. The first question any prospective buyer wants to know is “why are you getting rid of him?” The fact is Vegas was our son’s horse and our son has moved. We have our own horses and can’t bear to see such a fine horse go to waste. It’s only fair to make known that we will only let him go to a good home. First time horse owners will not be considered unless they have a proper mentor. Don’t be offended if the questions go both ways. We may even ask to see your facilities. $1,500.
