Quarter Pony Mare for Sale in Auburn, AL

For your consideration: On 9/26/2015 I rescued a Palomino Quarter pony mare and a gelding from a slaughter plant in Louisiana. She is now known affectionately as Marshmellow. I was told she was broke to ride at the time, however, upon pickup I noticed that she is pigeon toed. She stands at 14hh, 750lbs, is 6yrs old and since under my care, has been fully vetted and I had a new coggins pulled for her all on 9/28/15. I would love for her to go to a home where she can be a COMPANION/PASTURE PET. Due her being pigeon toed, I would not recommend riding even though she has been sound since I have owned her for the past few days. From what I’ve noticed within the past few days, she is okay when it comes to catching her in the pasture, she loads easily in an open trailer, she likes to be in the company of other horses, she loves to be groomed, and she loves treats. Marshmellow is shy at first but once she warms up to you, she will follow you around sometimes. She does not need any weight put on her, she is perfectly fine. I would not recommend her for a beginner or timid horse person. If you need any additional info/pictures, please feel free to contact me. Marshmellow will come with a new halter and lead rope, all vaccinations/coggins/dewormed, feet trimmed and possibly teeth floatation. You must pick up, I am a full time vet student and do not have the time to transport. I am only asking what I paid to save her/invested in her so far. Her price is $300 but may be willing to slightly negotiate. Please consider giving her a second chance!! Thank you.
