Quarter Horse Mare for Sale in Chestertown, MD

Price Reduced!! Ready To Be Started Your Way! Lux is a very athletic horse and she loves to run around and play with the other horses. She was born on my farm and has been handled since birth. She is very kind and gentle towards people. I have had children around her and it does not bother her at all. She stands tied, picks up all four feet, can be brushed all over, stalls quietly, pastures well with others, fly sprays, she isn't an aggressive eater, halter broke, and lead trained. She is used to dogs, cats, tractors, lawn mowers, other horses, vehicles, kids, and the radio. She isn't bothered by music or loud noises at all. (I keep a radio playing in my barn) She has been saddled twice and free lunged but has not been officially started. She is going to be an easy horse to work with just like her mom and full sister. She would benefit from a kind and gentle person, which she is used too. An aggressive or punishing hand would not work well with her personality. She has a blemish on her right front leg from an injury as a foal but it doesn't bother her in the slightest. You would never know anything ever happened to her. She is 100% sound with no problems. She is N/H for HYPP. Her Bloodlines: Ima Cool Skip, Sonny Dee Bar, Smokin Dry Doc, Dry Doc, Doc Bar, Poco Lena, Poco Bueno, Win Or Lose, Leo, Impressive, Susie Impressive, and more. If you have any questions, want to see more photos or want to come see her don't hesitate to text me, my cell number is 443-480-3***3. Priced at $1,500 firm. P.S. She is 15.2 hands tall the website won't let me change the height.

About Chestertown, MD

Founded in 1706, Chestertown rose in stature when it was named one of the English colony of Maryland's six Royal Ports of Entry. The shipping boom that followed this designation made the town at the navigable head of the Chester River wealthy. In the mid-eighteenth century, Chestertown trailed only Annapolis and was considered Maryland's second leading port. A burgeoning merchant class infused riches into the town, reflected in the many brick mansions and townhouses that sprang up along the waterfront. Another area in which Chestertown is second only to Annapolis is in its number of existing eighteenth century homes.
