Appendix Mare for Sale in Worthington, PA

HB Victories Blazon Boomerang is a 10 year old Appendix mare. With the solid build, steady demeanor and strong hooves of a Quarter horse and the speed refinement of a thoroughbred she truly has the best of both breeds. Quick and catty on her feet, she turns barrels with ease. Very sensitive, collects nicely, confident in the arena and knows how to open up and run. Boom has extensive show experience, totally calm on the ground and picks up once you get her to the gate. Has worked cattle and would make an excellent roping horse with her big stop. She has also competed in Competitive Trail, Versatility Ranch, and Team Penning. Suffered from a coffin bone injury three years ago due to ring-bone arthritis in her right front foot. You would never know today, nothing can slow this girl down. I don't have time to run her and want to see someone take her to the top where she belongs. She has way too much potential to be sitting in my pasture. If you're looking for a horse to bring home the money or expand your broodmare band, don't pass this girl up!

About Worthington, PA

Worthington was laid out on a tract of land called Mt. Lorenzo by Judge James Barr in 1843-1844. He chose the location due to the nearby junction of two important early stage coach routes, the east-west route from Indiana, Pennsylvania, to Butler, and the north-south route from Freeport to Emlenton. It was incorporated as a borough in 1855. As the village grew into a town it variously relied upon farming and light manufacturing for its income.
