Quarter Horse Mare for Sale in Manor, TX
Known as Topsie at the barn, she is a laid back 3 yr old coming 4 this
march. She is an easy keeper and level headed. She has done plenty of
trail riding and a small amount of jumping. I usually ride her english
but have also ridden her western as well as taken her to parelli clinics
working on level one and part of 2. She gets along great with other
horses and is a real sweetheart, i'll hate to see her go but i'm off to
college coming soon and unable to take her with me.

About Manor, TX
Manor was named for James B. Manor, who settled on Gilleland Creek west of present-day downtown Manor. A school for boys began operation northwest of the present Manor High School complex in 1854 and was followed in 1858 by a school for girls near the present Manor Elementary School. A post office was reestablished in the Manor home in 1859 under the name of Grassdale with James Manor serving as Post Master. A mercantile store was built in 1868 the present cemetery and was followed by a second store in 1869.
