Palomino Mare for Sale in Grandin, ND
Two registered AQHA Palomino Mares. 7 year olds and 15. 1 hh. Would
perfer to sell both horses together as they have been together all their
lives. Asking 2000. 00 for both mares together or 1200. 00 each. We
bought both mares as yearlings and we have never had the time or money
to take both to a trainer. Both mares have great potiental or would
make somebody an excellent breeding program. They are both friendly and
halter broke. Both are bred to the same sire and different dams and are

About Grandin, ND
Grandin was named for Bonanza farmer John Livingston Grandin. Grandin, a native of Tidioute, Pennsylvania, along with his brother William James, purchased 99 sections of land in the Red River Valley, dividing them in 1,500 acre farms. The brothers had 14,000 acres under cultivation near Grandin, with another 600 acres near Mayville, North Dakota. Prior to the arrival of the railroad the brothers shipped wheat from their farm by barge on the Red River to Fargo, North Dakota, 90 miles downstream. The barges were towed by the steamers Alsop and Grandin.
