Paint Mare for Sale in Poynette, WI
Outgoing and affectionate 3 yr old black Paint filly. ~Lady~ is double
registered with APHA and PtHA. Her bloodlines include Mccue, Bonanza
and Top Bar. Her sire is Raging Spirit, a Wis. State Grand Champion in
Amateur Stallion Halter, Aged Stallion Halter, and Overo Color Halter
with WPHC. He was also Grand Champion Stock / Hunt Stallion Halter
with Wisconsin Pinto Horse Association. All of our horses are easy
going, love attention and handled by our young children without issues.
She has had regular hoof trimming every 8-10 weeks, along with being up
to date on vaccine and worming schedules. Lady loads, clips and bathes.
She currently is 14. 3 hands. Lady has had some basic ground work and

About Poynette, WI
Poynette was named after Pierre Paquette (1796–1836), an early fur trader and settler of south central Wisconsin. When an application was made for a post office in the settlement, Paquette's name was misread as Poynette, and the post office was mistakenly named "Poynette". The village was then named after the post office. The community was incorporated in 1892.
