Tennessee Walking Stallion for Sale in Dallas, NC
"Steely Dan" is a head turning beautiful horse. He has a
wonderful flat and running walk, and will canter. Dan has multiple WGC
in his papers. He has excellent ground manners and is easy to clip and
deworm. He loads in a trailer like a champ. He has only been on a few
trail rides but handled them like a champ with a young girl on his back.
He will lead or follow. Dan gets along great with other horses in the
herd. He is green broke though and need some wet blankets to finish him
out, so he will need an experienced rider. We have too many horses to
give him the attention he deserves.
About Dallas, NC
Dallas was officially incorporated in 1863 and is the oldest incorporated town in Gaston County. It served as the original county seat for Gaston County from 1846 until 1911. The old Gaston County courthouse, renovated in 1868 after a fire, still stands in the main square of the town and formerly served as the headquarters of the Dallas Police Department. The town government has renovated the courthouse. Dallas began to decline in importance when the town commissioners refused to appropriate money for construction of bridges over several creeks for the Atlanta and Richmond Air-Line Railway in the 1872.
