Paint Stallion for Sale in Magnolia, TX

Sonny has been trained, shown and won over 2000 APHA points in Trail, Western Pleasure, HUS, Hunt Seat Equitation, Western Horsemanship, Showmanship and even has 3 halter points! He's as solid as a rock and can do what you ask of him. From a side pass to a pivot on the forehand, he~s got the moves. He was a class winner at Houston in 2004. The first time I ever showed Showmanship, i got a 3 rd because Sonny knows his job and knows it well. He's as solid as they come on the trail. Ridden through a shallow river and up sand banks. He is in excellent health. He races our mare across the pasture all the time (he hates to lose to her!) . We're moving to the suburbs and selling our horse property. He~s a once in a lifetime find. I~m sad to sell him.

About Magnolia, TX

The first settlement in the Magnolia area was a town named Mink Prairie, founded in about 1845 when a farmer named Mink built a homestead. By 1850, the town's name was shortened to Mink. After the Civil War, Mink's population swelled due to an influx of settlers from Kentucky and Tennessee, resulting in a post office being built in 1885. In 1902, the International-Great Northern Railroad (now operated by Union Pacific), decided to build a railroad to the north of Mink, causing most of the residents of Mink to move closer to the railroad line. The new town was named Melton in honor of a wealthy landowner who lived in the area.
