Arabian Stallion for Sale in Duncannon, PA

Takara has been trained mostly western but some english. Rides in a hackamore or d - ring snaffle. I'd like to see him go to an intermediate rider or advanced beginner with supervision. He needs an owner who will be firm. Takara does best with often, consistant work. Likes to follow on trail rides. Can be taken out by himself but prefers a group. He is not highly spirited but can spook in place. He is sound and UTD on shots and deworming. Wonderful for vet. He is for sale because I want a trail horse that almost anyone can ride. (Guest horse) He is too much for us as beginners. I will trade. Will trade for a horse, let me know what you have and I will let you know if I am interested. I may trade for a used atv. Or asking price is $1500.

About Duncannon, PA

Duncannon was originally called Petersburg, and under the latter name was laid out in 1792. The present name is derived from Duncan's Island in the Susquehanna River. The Puritan missionary David Brainerd visited the area in the 1740s. In his journal he describes his trip on the Susquehanna and his brief stay with an Indian tribe on Duncan's Island, across the river from present-day Duncannon. The Mutzabaugh family has close connection to the town, as their market (now grocery store) named after the family has been a presence in the town since 1920, opening originally along the old railroad crossing between Market Square and High Street.
