Quarter Horse Mare for Sale in Milton-freewater, OR
THUMBELINA - 25+ year old, 15h, red roan mare. This mare is sound but
very old. She is skinny and needs to be fed Equine Senior for the rest of
her life. We did not ride her as she is too skinny and I did not want to
be too heavy for her. This Beautiful gal is in foster care in Milton -
Freewater OR. She has been wormed, she has no food aggression issues,
and she had her teeth floated recently. She's a sweet old mare, who
would love nothing more then to be someones best friend.

About Milton-freewater, OR
First settled in 1868, the community was incorporated as Milton by 1873. It is uncertain how the name was chosen; perhaps in hopes of building a mill, perhaps in honor of English poet John Milton. Freewater received its name from the offer of free residential water rights to attract new settlers. Before that name was chosen other proposed names had been New Walla Walla and Wallaette. The town was located to the north of and directly adjacent to Milton.
