Appendix Stallion for Sale in Coupland, TX
Spitfire is a tall, very large 15. 3 hand 6 year old Appendix - Bred (1 / 2 thoroughbred) Quarter Horse Gelding. He is completely trained and a smooth ride. He responds really well to reining and stops on a dime. Spitfire is a great horse for an advanced - beginner, intermediate, or advanced level rider and would make a great all - around ranch, trail, or 4- H horse. He has been ridden over the summer mostly by teenagers who love riding him. Because of his age and size, I would not reccommend him for younger kids or teens without confidence when riding but he would be great for a teen with experience or taking lessons.

About Coupland, TX
In 1859, Morgan C. Hamilton bought large tracts of land along Brushy Creek from Shiloh to Rice's Crossing. Hamilton died in 1883, willing the land to his nephew, Theodore Van Buren Coupland. Mr. Coupland sold a 100-foot right-of-way to the Taylor, Bastrop and Austin Railroad in 1887.
