Babe" is a well - built mare, suitable for the larger rider. She is a beauty to look at with two beautiful blue eyes, a medicine hat and chest shield. She is great on the trail, gets along well with other horses, bathes, clips, and is good in the trailer and for the farrier. Would also make a great broodmare and had one very flashy colt. About Eau Claire, WI
The area that Eau Claire was settled on was first discovered in the late 19th century. French fur traders began settling there for work. The first permanent settlers arrived in 1845, and the city was officially incorporated in 1872. Logging was a common job during this time and many saw mills were also built in conjunction with this. Saw mills and overall manufacturing became huge industries in Eau Claire by the late 19th century.
