Tennessee Walking Stallion for Sale in Hillsboro, MO
This is a gorgeous 8 year old Lite Shod gelding. Unfortunately I must sell him because I am moving. He is the Grand Champion in Halter and Country Pleasure for the past two show seasons. He has also done well at the FOSH shows. He is a pleasure to ride. He has a great head shake, nice short back, and goes under well. He has been in a parade and trail ridden. He is out of the Carbon Copy line. This horse has a lot of potential. I am sure he will win many, many blues in the future. About Hillsboro, MO
Hillsboro was originally called Monticello, and under the latter name was platted in 1839, and named after Monticello, home of President Thomas Jefferson. The name Monticello was afterwards changed because the U.S. postal authorities refused to accept that name, there being another post office in the state with a similar name. The present name Hillsboro is the English equivalent of the Italian name Monticello. A post office has been in operation at Hillsboro since 1838.
