Pinto Mare for Sale in Huffman, TX
Beautiful Grulla Pinto filly. "Blue" has two blue eyes and is very flashy. She was born & raised on our property. Very gentle and easy to work around. She has had extensive round pen training and we have been working on her head - set, we have also had a Western saddle on her and have gotten on her back a few times. She will be going to the trainer in June and the price will go up. She is a pretty mover and would make a great little hunter pony. She should top out to 14. 1 - 14. 2 hands. She has been shown in halter and color class and has done very well at open shows. She loads great, clips well, and stands for the farrier. We have too many horses right now and we will be open to all offers. ~~~ ~~
About Huffman, TX
Huffman is an unincorporated community of northeastern Harris County, Texas within the Houston, Baytown metropolitan area. The Huffman community is centered on Farm to Market Roads 2100 and 1960, 25 miles (40 km) northeast of Downtown Houston in the piney woods of southeastern Texas. David Huffman, a native of Louisiana, came to Texas to fight against Mexico during the Texas Revolution. For services rendered, Huffman received $24 and 324 acres (1.31 km 2) of land in 1838. Along with his father Abe, Huffman and a group from Louisiana settled in the area north of FM 1960 and east of FM 2100 in 1840.
