Painters Got Rox is a 7 year old TWHBEA / SSHBEA registered black tobiono mare by The Town Painter out of Got Rox Got Pride. 15+ hands high. Roxie has been shown, trail ridden, and was a flag carrier as a 2-4 year old. Roxie can be bred to Chief's Spotted Pride if arranged. Roxie has not been ridden in the last 3 years but she is very gentle and easy to handle. She is being ridden by her owner's daughter, age 13, in her show picture. Roxie was shown in keg shoes , no oil, and no gimmicks! Roxie will rack and has a lot of go. Roxie's pedigree through her sire goes to Paint The Town, Dusty Sally, and Triple Threat. About Dry Prong, LA
Dry Prong was incorporated as a village in 1945. According to tradition, the village received its name when a family moved to the region in the 1870s to build a sawmill. To power the mill, they built a water wheel, only to discover that the creek over which they had built it went dry every summer: the creek was a "dry prong". The mill was soon rebuilt over a nearby creek which flowed all year, but the name stuck. The creek is now outside the city limits, on Highway 123.
