Cover Girl is a 14.3 HH, 14-year-old registered Racking Horse Mare; she has a great disposition and is a pleasure to ride. Cover Girl has a running walk and rack. Both are very smooth gaits. She is privately owned. I have owned her for 12 1/2 years and raised one palomino colt; she has been a pleasure to ride. Cover Girl can handle roads, shoes, saddles, and she grooms easy. I have ridden her mainly around our place, country roads, fields, trails, and log roads. She has also done trail riding and does just fine. She’s easy to catch, crosses water, and does well with other horses. All In all, she has been a great horse.
About Licking, MO
The community was named for a mineral lick near the original town site. An early variant name was "Buffalo Lick". Licking experienced growth after the South Central Correctional Center opened in June 2000, which doubled the population from the 2000 Census to the 2010 Census. Also, a small Amish community moved from Berne, Indiana to Licking starting in 2009. As of the census of 2010, there were 3,124 people, 634 households, and 397 families living in the city.
