Kentucky Mountain Gelding for Sale in Brooksville, KY

Granny and Family Approved!!Austin is a Grade Kentucky  Mountain Horse Gelding. This nice big stout and handsome boy is 15.2 hands and is 13 years old. He has been trail rode throughout several states camping with his prior owners and it shows. Austin pickets well overnight and never gives the littlest trouble. This handsome fellow has a nice smooth gait and canter. This boy gets along with other horses just fine and is easy to catch in the field. Austin is a favorite around the barn and is broke for the family. This black beauty is good with riding front, middle or back of the pack and doesn’t mind if he is separated from the group. He is easy to catch, clip, bath, shoe, tack-up, load, and handle. Austin will move out in a nice smooth gait. On and off the trails he is always great! Austin has been exposed to all kinds of wildlife and farm animals such as deer, turkey and other animals like cows and dogs. This beautiful guy will go anywhere that he is asked to. He will go up or down even the steepest hills, across creeks, over downed trees, and over all types of obstacles while remaining sure footed. He has been rode in traffic, and is traffic safe. Austin is currently shod all the way around but does not have to be. He is one truly beautiful easy going type of gelding. If you’re looking for a gentle, broke trail horse to ride the trails with Austin will do the job.
