Thoroughbred Mare for Sale in Fort Collins, CO

MORE INFORMATION AVAILABLE ON THEHORSEBAY DOT COM Delyla is a fantastic trail horse who loves a job and interacts with people and horses. She is the first to greet you at the gate in the pasture. She has been amazing to work with on the trails, bravely crossing anything we have shown her. She crosses rivers, bridges, logs. She is good around traffic joggers, dogs, bicyclists, etc.. she requires no maintenance stays very healthy on pasture or hay. She’s up to date on vaccines and wormer. She is great for the vet and absolutely a statue for the farrier. She is handy in the bridle and has some nice buttons as well. She has very nice rollbacks and a huge stop as she was previously a polo horse. She has done great with mounted archery, roping, and working cows for as little as she has seen. She is lightly started in jumping and could go much further with some more time. She could make an excellent dressage horse with her movements, and she does half pass and some lower level movements to date. But she is such an amazing Trail horse she could also be your new best friend to go enjoy the countryside. She has a very big stride covering alot of ground and is always ready to go on an adventure. I would recommend intermediate rider as she does have a big stride and is fearless. She loads and backs out like a horse should, as seen in the video. Mounted archery is also available in the video. Some ranch roping videos are in the video as well. Very nice mare being low in the herd and staying out of trouble. She gets along well with geldings, mares, and even minis. As a matter of fact, her pasture buddy was a mini mule. She is great to be around and enjoys riding easy trails to cutting new trails. Don’t pass her up if you’re looking for a young horse with many years left to enjoy nature and grow with. She knows both leads, lead changes. She has a big future in the right hands for sure. Already a top trail horse with no nonsense to her. Come try her out.

About Fort Collins, CO

Fort Collins was founded as a military outpost of the United States Army in 1864. It succeeded a previous encampment, known as Camp Collins, on the Cache La Poudre River, near what is known today as Laporte. Camp Collins was erected during the Indian wars of the mid-1860s to protect the Overland mail route that had been recently relocated through the region. Travelers crossing the county on the Overland Trail would camp there, but a flood destroyed the camp in June 1864. Afterward, the commander of the fort wrote to the commandant of Fort Laramie in southeast Wyoming, Colonel William O.
