Tennessee Walking Gelding for Sale in Bowling Green, KY

AVAILABLE ON THEHORSEBAY DOT COM True Blue is a 3-year-old registered Tennessee Walking horse gelding and a true, classic blue roan. He stands at 15.2 hands tall and parks out at 15 hands. Blue can be laid down on command and in a manner that allows you to mount while he’s still laying. Blue has extensive trail experience in both the woods and water. Climbing up creek banks, over logs in the woods, there’s nowhere he won’t go. He’s acclimated to highway traffic and loud/heavy farm equipment of all sizes. You can easily catch True Blue in a field or stall, he’ll gently come right up to you. He has such a calm demeanor about him. Blue’s gait is excellent; he’s broke to lope, backs wonderfully and loads/unloads on a trailer great every time. True Blue is fully aware of who’s on his back; whether it’s an experienced rider shooting an AR-15 or a four-year-old still learning how to use reins correctly. He easily parks out on command. He’s broke to be ground tied and also he’s fully acclimated to live gunfire. Blue is broke to be ground tied with LIVE AR-15 rounds, shot all around him. He’ll go anywhere you want to go! You can ride bridle-less; he’s just as comfortable with only a halter if that’s what you prefer. He’s used to the road and working bird dogs; does wonderfully in a pack, away from a pack, middle, front, back… whatever is best for YOU. True Blue was started out as a 2-year-old by our facility and specifically, the late Tommy Loid III. Blue has had loads of training from our facility and has always easily accepted it too. Most of the training you’ll see in the videos was done just as wonderfully as a 2-year-old. Over the summer/fall of 2021, Blue’s also been used for ‘Birthday Barn’ parties with young children, most of whom have never been on/around a horse before. He’s incredibly gentle and has been known to lower his head for short visitors to love on him. The parties are filled with lots of playing children, a Horse mascot, loud music, face painting, balloons, and games. He’s been surrounded by crowds often for photo-ops and always remains gentle & calm. Blue’s had over 100 children of all ages on him for rides this year, alone. And loved by ALL! Blue’s a phenomenal young horse and ready for his next adventure. He is proudly given the ‘Gold Standard’ seal from our facility!

About Bowling Green, KY

The first Europeans known to have reached the area carved their names on beech trees near the river around 1775. By 1778, settlers established McFadden's Station on the north bank of the Barren River. Present-day Bowling Green developed from homesteads erected by Robert and George Moore and General Elijah Covington, the namesake of the town near Cincinnati. [ citation needed ] The Moore brothers arrived from Virginia circa 1794. In 1798, two years after Warren County had been formed, Robert Moore donated 2 acres (8,100 m 2) of land to county trustees for the purpose of constructing public buildings.
