Quarter Horse Gelding for Sale in Eatonton, GA

Suitable for any level of rider. Extremely thick, made with a huge hip and muscular chest. Beautiful dappled gray and a sweet, personable disposition to go with it. Smoke loves attention. He is an “in your pocket” type of guy, kind and gentle with excellent ground manners, easy to catch, and gets along well with others in the pasture. He stands for the farrier, shoes great. He’s currently in basic front shoes. Perfect gentleman for baths. Loading and clipping are also not a problem. He will cross water, plastic tarps, and bridges. He is safe in traffic, no issues with cyclists or large farm equipment. Smoke stands quietly to be saddled and bridled. He is super soft and supple under saddle, responds to seat, neck reins, and guides by leg pressure easily. Backs, side passes nicely. Has been used for lessons. He’s safe and quiet with young riders and fancy when asked for more experienced riders. Has been ridden English and Western. Smoke will pick you up from the mounting block and stands like a rock for mounting, from the mounting block or the ground. He’ll stand on a loose rein until you’re ready to go. Calm and quiet in all situations. He loads, stands tied quietly, isn’t herd sour at all, hauls excellent on long trips. He has a nice leisurely walk. Can jog, extended trot, and He will lope right out of a walk. His lope is super smooth to ride and can easily be ridden bareback; he’s very comfortable. Rides out with or without company. Rides front, back, or middle of a group. He is excellent on the trail crosses all types of water, fallen trees, and slippery rocks. Will go up or down anything. Not spooky, very sensible, and levelheaded. No vices, health issues, or maintenance. He’s Easygoing, Safe, Athletic, and Stunning. Have fun and look great doing it!

About Eatonton, GA

The Rock Eagle Effigy Mound, a Native American archaeological site, is located north of the city. It is one of two such sites east of the Mississippi River; both are in Putnam County. The mound and related earthwork constructions were made by Woodland culture peoples, perhaps as long ago as 1,000 to 3,000 years. The site within a 1500-acre park administered by the University of Georgia, which also maintains a 4-H camp nearby. The Mound has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
