Welsh Pony Gelding for Sale in Fort Collins, CO

This guy literally does it all from the English side to the western side. Whether you’re looking for one to win in the show ring or just want to hit a trail or maybe gather and work cows, H.P. has it all. He excels in cross country courses inside arenas and anywhere outside. Nothing phases this guy. He is fearless with a mind we all dream of our bigger horses having. He can keep up in the mountains all day at a trot or lope. He will walk all day down the trail if you like. He has been ridden in town and doesn’t mind the city hustle n bustle. Traffic safe crosses streets safely lights, and he is great with all of the noises. He has been shown with some tough competition and comes out on top. He has nice lead changes, leg yields, and bridles up nicely. He also rides brideless and bareback English or western. He has jumped complete courses brideless and bareback with control. This gentleman also ropes and drags calves to be tagged and banded when born. He heads and heels the dummy. You can put your child on him and go hit the brush or mountainside, gathering cattle all day. He does lead line well. I really can’t say enough good about this guy. He’s truly an honest pony. He loves to walk up to you and become your best friend and give you his trust. He loads great tacks great for vet and farrier. If you’re looking for that unicorn for your child, do not miss out on this guy! Thank you in advance for inquiring on H.P. Feel free to call and schedule to meet him. We look forward to meeting everyone! Payment will be expected next business day on him. Delivery can be arranged as well.

About Fort Collins, CO

Fort Collins was founded as a military outpost of the United States Army in 1864. It succeeded a previous encampment, known as Camp Collins, on the Cache La Poudre River, near what is known today as Laporte. Camp Collins was erected during the Indian wars of the mid-1860s to protect the Overland mail route that had been recently relocated through the region. Travelers crossing the county on the Overland Trail would camp there, but a flood destroyed the camp in June 1864. Afterward, the commander of the fort wrote to the commandant of Fort Laramie in southeast Wyoming, Colonel William O.
