Mule Gelding for Sale in Wykoff, MN
Doc is the true definition of been there done that. He stands 14.2, hands tall and stocky. Doc has been ridden extensively on the trail all over MN, WI, SD, and MO. Doc has been through parades. He crosses water, logs, bridges, and tarps with ease. Doc has been ridden primarily by an older guy in his 70’s – he is gentle and safe for anyone. Unfortunately, the only reason for selling is that his owner was in an accident (not involving Doc) and can no longer ride. Doc has an excellent neck rein and a solid walk, trot, lope, and stop. Doc will carry saddlebags full of ice and drinks all day long. He will happily lead the group or follow. Doc would make a great pack mule too. Stands good for all vet and farrier care, also UTD with all care. He walks right into the trailer and stands tied all day. He rides out great alone and in a group. The only vice Doc has, he does not like the sound of a can opening on his back – nothing crazy, but it does catch him off guard. Doc is a total sweetheart and easy to catch and get along with. Easy keeper and has been pastured with both mules and horses.

Wykoff was platted in 1871. It was named for Cyrus G. Wykoff, a railroad surveyor and early landowner. A post office has been in operation at Wykoff since 1871. The town was incorporated on March 8, 1876.
