Tennessee Walking Gelding for Sale in Fort Collins, CO

Cochise is an in-your-pocket, sociable gelding who is always up for a ride… or cuddles, treats, and grooming. He has a fabulous gait with wonderful bloodlines. He is brave and loves to go, whether into town, the mountains, or down your home road. He is sure-footed and easy to get along with. No matter what speed you want to go, Cochise is ready and smooth as molasses. Cochise is a no vice, no funny business kind of horse. What you see is what you get. Trailer loads beautifully. He is great for the farrier. Stands to mount and stands tied well. He’s super easy to catch, meets you at the gate. Great to saddle, pick feet, bathe or fly spray. This gem is as sweet as he is flashy! He rides out alone, not herd bound or barn sour one bit. I could go on and on about this fellow, but I’ll let his videos do the rest of the talking.

About Fort Collins, CO

Fort Collins was founded as a military outpost of the United States Army in 1864. It succeeded a previous encampment, known as Camp Collins, on the Cache La Poudre River, near what is known today as Laporte. Camp Collins was erected during the Indian wars of the mid-1860s to protect the Overland mail route that had been recently relocated through the region. Travelers crossing the county on the Overland Trail would camp there, but a flood destroyed the camp in June 1864. Afterward, the commander of the fort wrote to the commandant of Fort Laramie in southeast Wyoming, Colonel William O.
