Quarter Barrel Horse

Consigned on THEHORSEBAY DOT COM Zeus is a true all-around deluxe horse! He can go from running 1D/2D times at a barrel race to toting around a beginner in an obstacle course in the blink of an eye. I bought him as a 2-year-old with 30 days on him. The first year I had him, I rode him on trails and got his start a little more finished. Then I sent him to a reining trainer for 60 days to really complete his handle before sending him to get trained for barrels and poles for another 60 days. Since then, I have been competing with and enjoying him, but with the number of youngsters I have right now, it’s just time for someone else to love him. He really is the complete package! I’ve trail-ridden him on rough trails in southern Missouri through deep water, mud, steep rocky trails, around cows, opening and closing gates, and so much more. He also hauls really well to barrel races and requires just standard performance horse maintenance. He stands for the farrier and bathing and even ground ties. All this in a gorgeous big red package with a stacked set of papers!
