Quarter Horse Mare for Sale in Goldsboro, NC

Gunnysbigenterprise x Miss Doc Enterprise (barn name, Elli), is a 6 year old AQHA (registration pending) flashy sorrel roan 14.1 1/2 hh (trimmed) mare. Elli is very athletic, eager to work, very very broke with an excellent handle and can continue in any direction. Knows her leads/lead changes, collection, lateral movements, has a turn around and side pass. Very correct confirmation, smooth gaits, good mover, light and responsive. Stands for mounting & dismounting, opens her mouth for the bit. She has had one year reining training, started over fences up to 2’3” and course work (near auto leads over fences, natural tuck), and is patterned on barrels and has run a few times (clocked 3D once and 4D a couple times). She could excel as a jumper or eventer, reiner, dressage, or ranch riding pony, or flashy trail parter. Will ride out alone or with a group. Elli will do best with a rider with quiet legs/hands (she’s very eager to work and is *not* a kick ride or lazy), listens well, zero silliness/buck/rear. Has been ridden by kids and has packed a beginner on a lunge line. No vices. Easy keeper. UTD (coggins/vaccines/float). Great for vet & farrier. Stalls or pastures (low on the pecking order), loads, clips, bathes. Priced fairly (and firm) for uncomplicated sale. Price subject to change with more training and consistent barrel times. Multiple videos and pictures available via email.

About Goldsboro, NC

Around 1787, when Wayne County was formed, a town named Waynesborough grew around the county's courthouse. In 1787, William Whitfield III (son of William Whitfield II) and his son were appointed "Directors and Trustees" for designing and building the town. Located on the east bank of the Neuse River, the town became the county seat. Population growth in Waynesborough continued through the 1830s. However, this changed once the Wilmington and Weldon Railroad was completed in the early 1840s.
