Arabian Mare for Sale in Norridgewock, ME

EB Shamara is a Beautiful 7yr old Straight Egyptian Alkhamsa mare tail female to dahmah shahwaniyah through *Ghazalahh to *Inas. Wonderful broodmare with her amazing temperament. She is a foundation quality mare but we will no longer be using her for breeding and she deserves to be the QUEEN of her own farm. A rare descendant of the beautiful Bint Farida daughter, *Ghazalahh. Considered to be one of the most beautiful mares to leave Egypt, *Ghazalahh was brought to America by Gleannloch farms where she tragically did not produce a foal. Her daughter by Morafic, Inas however was exported to Hungary and is today one of only two Ghazala daughters that provide a source of her blood. Shamara's sire REA Asmar Halim is the combination of both the full brothers Ansata Halim Shah on Ansata Samaria and Ansata Raja Halim on the Champion mare *Lancers Asmara. She is broke to ride. She trailers well, vet, farrier and has been with us since she was a weanling. She is open currently but can be put IFT Royal Faaiq (x ZT Faaiq) or Tammens Kismet (X Tammen) for 2022

About Norridgewock, ME

Situated on the New England and Acadia border, which New France defined as the Kennebec River, the area was once territory of the Norridgewock Indians, a band of the Abenaki nation. Their village was located at Old Point, now part of Madison. English colonists suspected Father Sebastien Rale (or Rasle), the French missionary at the village since 1694, of abetting tribal hostilities against British settlements during the French and Indian Wars. During Father Rale's War, soldiers left Fort Richmond (now Richmond) in whaleboats until they reached Taconic Falls (now Winslow), then marched quietly to Norridgewock Village, arriving on August 23, 1724. Battle of Norridgewock was "sharp, short and decisive," leaving 26 warriors slain, 14 wounded and 150 survivors fleeing to Quebec, Canada.
