Sera is an 8 year old mare with good confirmation. She has OCD in both hocks and navicular starting in front feet due to hindquarter pain from OCD. However, neither Sera's sire, nor her dam had OCD so it likely was from a source other than genetics. UTD on dental, trims, Coggings, is barefoot, and an average keeper. She is a dominant mare. The name Amherst was established in 1853 by Adam Uline, after General Jeffery Amherst of Revolutionary fame and the fact he was native of Amherst, Nova Scotia.
