Mustang Mare for Sale in Carson City, NV

Hello and thank you for looking at my profile. My name is Elisha and I am searching for my BFF. I am about 8 years old and 14.1 HH. I am a beautiful bay mare with just enough white to be very unique and flashy. I was gathered from the Devil's Garden HMA. Devil's Garden is California's largest wild horse herd. Mustangs that hail from Devil’s Garden are known to be sturdy, have great attitudes and personality and are good prospects to be great trail horses. I am the definition of sturdy! I could easily carry a 200 lb adult. I would prefer a young lady to love and be loved by. I dream of grazing in a field of green grass with my girl laying on my back reading "The Black Stallion" on my rump. Oh what fun we will have running around and playing together! But I digress. You may be wondering about my level of training. I have completed the Mustang Heritage Foundation TIP Training program. I will halter, lead, load in the trailer, (I will back out or turn around and lead out forward), pick up all 4 feet for cleaning and stand to be groomed from tip to tail. My foster mom has bridled and saddled me on several occasions and she has started flopping herself across my back. I have no objection to the saddle what-so-ever, nor do I mind when foster mom plops on the saddle. I am a little anxious of the bit. I'm not yet accustomed to having that thing in my mouth and not being able to eat it. Why would you put something in your mouth that you can't eat?!? (sometimes humans confuse me) Anyway, I will need continued training, but I am very willing to learn. I am completely ready to start learning how to carry a person on may back. Will you be me friend? Please contact foster mom via HorseWeb email or text at (8 zero 5) two 3 five-3 eight 8 one I cannot wait to meet you

About Carson City, NV

The Washoe people have inhabited the valley and surrounding areas for about 6,000 years. The first European Americans to arrive in what is now known as Eagle Valley were John C. Frémont and his exploration party in January 1843. Fremont named the river flowing through the valley Carson River in honor of Kit Carson, the mountain man and scout he had hired for his expedition. Later, settlers named the area Washoe in reference to the indigenous people.
