Mare for Sale in Otis, OR
I have a 6 yr old red roan mare, she is saddle cross bred but definitely a gated horse! She’s a very sweet girl, I have had an issue with her escaping but that’s because she’s smart and saw an easy way out! Has only done it a couple times, and she always comes back for her food! I have gotten the saddle on her a couple times and put my weight in the stir up and in the saddle and she stood there fine. She’s pretty green still. Has never had a bit in her mouth. And she doesn’t know much. I have been working on lunging with her and she’s been responding well to that and the cues I give. Stops as soon as you stop or say whoa. She needs someone who can spend a lot of time with her, I bought her thinking I would have enough time and unfortunately I don’t. I hate to have to post her!
