Spotted Saddle Gelding for Sale in Rome, GA

Dyno is a very handsome spotted saddle horse gelding. He has the brand TNT on his side and most likely is papered, somewhere! However, we do not have them unfortunately. He stands 15 hands tall. Dyno is around 15 years old. Dyno has a sweet and silly personality and loves attention! Dyno is very easy to catch in the pasture! He is low on herd order and is not a troublemaker. He gets along with both mares and other geldings. Dyno has pretty good ground manners. He stands still for grooming, bathing, fly spray, tacking and mounting. He will stand in crossties. He does like to move around if you let him! Dyno will pick up all four legs and is good for his farrier appointments. He has been shod before, but is currently barefoot. Dyno is broke to ride. We would recommend at least an intermediate rider for him. Dyno is a very forward mover and likes to go! After about 15 minutes or so he isn’t so “go.” Dyno is a great trail mount! He will ride off alone or in a group! Will lead or follow. Dyno is not spooky and is safe around traffic. Dyno has never offered to buck, rear or bolt under saddle. Dyno will neck rein and back. He will cross water and rocky paths. Dyno is gaited and has a very smooth rack when he gets into it! (We aren’t very experienced with gaited horses and not sure what his cue is to get him to stay in a solid rack.) We are asking $2500 for Dyno to a wonderful home. To meet this beautiful gelding please call, text or email to set up an appointment. Video and additional photos available by request. Transportation is available at an additional charge if needed.

About Rome, GA

People of the Mississippian culture are known to have inhabited the area from about 1000 CE. These people are believed to have died off from disease brought by exposure to the Spaniards in the late 16th century. The Cherokee migrated into the Southeast and established themselves in the early 17th century. Specifics before the Spanish expeditions in the 16th century are largely unknown, but archeologists have found evidence of thousands of years of indigenous cultures along these rivers. There is some debate over whether Hernando de Soto was the first Spanish conquistador to encounter Native Americans in the area now known as Rome, but it is usually agreed that he passed through the region with his expedition in 1540.
