Haflinger Gelding for Sale in Lancaster, PA

Meet Otis! Otis is a 13 year old Haflinger gelding standing at a stout 15 hands. If you are looking for your once in a lifetime horse, look no further! Horses like him certainly don’t come around often. In the ring Otis will easily WTC with no buck, rear, or bolt. He knows both his leads and picks them up without an issue. Otis will go Western, bareback or English. He has popped over some cross rails as well. He is a super comfortable and easy ride that all levels of riders can enjoy and feel secure on. Otis would be a great dressage, trail, lesson, or english pony! He is super versatile and happy to do anything you wish! You will find he is not your stereotypical Haflinger and is not stubborn or lazy! On the trail, Otis is incredibly fun and willing. He is good with ATV’s, cars, motorcycles, trucks, tractors, trailers, and dogs. Otis will cross bridges, water, and inclines. He will WTC and move out, but he will also take it slow and easy. He prefers to be with a friend but will also go out alone. You won’t find Otis being the bolting type! In the barn, Otis is so much fun to have around! This guy LOVES everyone he meets and really enjoys the company of his humans. He ties, loves baths, stands to be groomed, picks up all four feet and is great for the farrier and vet. He loads up in the trailer great and will hit the trails off site without a fuss. In pasture, Otis can get along with mares and geldings. No need to catch him, he walks right up to you! Otis is sound in every way and barefoot. He requires no maintenance. UTD on rabies, coggins, farrier, dental, sheath cleaning, and all shots.
