Paint Pony Mare for Sale in Benton Harbor, MI

Fancy is a good looking gymkhana pony prospect. She knows nearly all the gymnkhana patterns. Very speedy, does flying lead changes. This is a pony that will make you a contender. 13hh, 12 years old. Current coggins. Trailers well, stands nicely for farrier. Her previous owner was trying to show her in pleasure and horsemanship due to her flashy looks, but Fancy was having none of it. She wants to move. Fast! We have trained her to keep herself more under control. She now can walk, where before she never would. Everything about her says exciting gymkhana prospect. (UPDATE: Fancy has now been trained extensively and ridden many, many miles. She could be sold to someone who is at least an intermediate rider whether you would want to do speed and action events with her or not. We would still not recommend trying to do pleasure with her, unless she is also ridden on a nearly daily basis to keep her energy levels down.) She has been shown at our local Buchanan Westerners showground. Fancy needs an owner who is planning on regularly working, training and showing her. She does not sit well. You will have to work to bring her back up to the level you left her. She has been shown at our local Buchanan Westerners showground. About Benton Harbor, MI

Benton Harbor was founded by Henry C. Morton, Sterne Brunson and Charles Hull, who all now have or have had schools named after them. Benton Harbor was mainly swampland bordered by the Paw Paw River, through which a canal was built, hence the "harbor" in the city's name. In 1860, the village was laid out by Brunson, Morton, Hull and others, and given the name of Brunson Harbor. Brunson, Morton, and Hull also donated land and solicited subscriptions for construction of the canal, which was completed in 1862.
