Quarter Horse Mare for Sale in Chamois, MO
Peppy Cat Dun It aka Penny 8 year old mare. Stands 15.2 hands. Been mainly used as a broodmare but is broke to ride. She isn’t anything fancy but knows all the basics. I don’t have any videos of her riding. I bought her for a broodmare. She currently is under weight. She got down pretty sick. Vet has cleared her and she’s been picking weight back up. She still breathes a little rough but the vet said with more time that will heal up and go away. Only reason why I’m offering her for sale is I’m thinning my broodmares down. Chamois Missouri.

Chamois was platted in 1856, and named after the chamois, a European animal. A post office called Chamois has been in operation since 1856. Besides the post office, the community had a depot on the Missouri Pacific Railroad. The Chamois Public School and Alvah Washington Townley Farmstead Historic District are listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
