An intermediate or above level rider is suggested, but she could be a beginner's or lesson horse as well, as she works well for almost everyone. She has been ridden by teenagers who have little to no experience and she is "husband safe". Flirt has done practically everything - speed events, English and Western pleasure events, trail riding, but she is mainly used in the Show Jumper ring. She is mainly shown at 4-H level, but has been to a few bigger shows for Hunter and Show jumping. Flirt has been shown in hunters up to 3', jumpers up to 2'9, and schooled up to around 3'3. She would be a good Eventer as she is bold, quick, and willing to jump anything. She has flying changes during a jumping course, but not on the flat, but that could be taught. Flirt is willing to do any type of work in any discipline. Flirt has a high temperament on the ground. She is very anxious and does not like to be alone, but she is not buddy sour. She is a nightmare to trailer, but is can be and has been done peacefully.
