Mare for Sale in Kenton, OH

Willow is an appy quarter cross. We bought willow for a trail horse but have since been told by the vet that she has an old stifle injury and should not be ridden by adults but that she can be ridden by children. We have the letter from osu stating this. She is very sweet and gentle. Would be great for kids starting out and needing to build confidence at a walk/trot. She also just had her vaccines last month. We are more concerned about her having a good home than anything as there is no way to get back what we were taken for, but would like to recoupe some vet costs. We were told willow is 9 years old and both vets that saw her agreed.

About Kenton, OH

Kenton was originally the site of Fort McArthur, erected 1812 by Colonel Duncan McArthur as one of the forts along the line of General William Hull's march against the British headquarters at Fort Detroit during the War of 1812. In 1845, Kenton was incorporated as a village; it became a city in 1886. The city was named after frontiersman Simon Kenton. The city began as a center for agriculture trade, then in the late nineteenth century developed industry common to America of the time. From 1890 to 1952, Kenton was home to the Kenton Hardware Company, manufacturers of locks, cast-iron toys, and the very popular Gene Autry toy cap guns.
