Mustang Mare for Sale in Fort Collins, CO

PRICE REDUCED! 9 year old mustang mare. Has been used as a trail horse and has been used as a wrangler horse on a dude ranch this past summer. Super sweet in your pocket puppy dog personality. Loads, ties, bathes. No buck, bite, kick, or rear. Has extremely smooth gaits and can go all day. She likes having other horses around and can be tied and will stand quietly as long as there is at least 1 other horse with her. She is a quick learner and very willing to please. Would be good for an intermediate or advanced rider as she has some go when asked. She is ready to go in any direction, she was recently tried in a drill team setting and performed the maneuvers without any issues. Just floated in July and is up to date on all vaccinations and worming. Also up to date on Coggins. Around 14.2 hh. $1500 price negotiable to the right home. Vet checks welcome at buyers expense.

About Fort Collins, CO

Fort Collins was founded as a military outpost of the United States Army in 1864. It succeeded a previous encampment, known as Camp Collins, on the Cache La Poudre River, near what is known today as Laporte. Camp Collins was erected during the Indian wars of the mid-1860s to protect the Overland mail route that had been recently relocated through the region. Travelers crossing the county on the Overland Trail would camp there, but a flood destroyed the camp in June 1864. Afterward, the commander of the fort wrote to the commandant of Fort Laramie in southeast Wyoming, Colonel William O.
