Quarter Horse Gelding for Sale in Holt, MO

19 year old American Quarter Horse, loves kids, great with other horses or on own. Reining horse in the past, sorts cattle, and does trail rides. Can do about anything with him, he’s very laid back. Just needs a rider that knows how to ride. Never has bucked with me for the 5 years I’ve had him. Being sold because I’m moving down to a military base with my fiancé and won’t be home for him sadly. About Holt, MO

Holt was platted in 1867. The city was named for Jeremiah Abel Holt (1811-1886), who donated the land in 1837 and who was one of the first settlers in the area, a native of Orange County, North Carolina. Holt has the distinction of holding the world record for the fastest accumulation of rainfall. On June 22, 1947, Holt received 12 inches (300 mm) of rain in 42 minutes.
