Paint Mare for Sale in Broken Arrow, OK
This lovely gal has been a brood mare all her life and never handled until she met me a few years ago. She is a wonderful mother and puts out beautiful healthy foals (I have 2 of them), but is not accepting of the saddle. I have ridden her with a bareback pad with no issues, and have done fundamentals groundwork with her. She is a fast learner but still bucks when a saddle is put on her back. I have 4 other horses and am currently starting 2 three year olds and work full time, so I am unable to devote the time needed to work her with the saddle and have no interest or space for any more foals. About Broken Arrow, OK
The city's name comes from an old Creek community in Alabama. Members of that community were expelled from Alabama by the United States government, along the Trail of Tears in the 1830s. The Creek founded a new community in the Indian Territory, and named it after their old settlement in Alabama. The town's Creek name was Rekackv (pronounced thlee-Kawtch-kuh), meaning broken arrow. The new Creek settlement was located several miles south of present-day downtown Broken Arrow.
