Zara - 12 YO TB Jumper Mare for Sale

Zara is a 12 year old thoroughbred mare. Her tall frame (approximately 16.2-3) and gray coat make her an eye-catching mount! She has a hunter/jumper background and is currently owned by a junior who has ridden and shown her in the hunters. Zara knows her lead changes and is an extremely brave and correct jumper. Zara is currently in training with Alex to polish her skills, and would be the perfect mount for an amateur adult or junior who would like to show in the 2’6-2’9 hunters, equitation, and or jumpers. She is quickly becoming a barn favorite – She is very sweet on the ground (not mareish at all) and seems to enjoy being doted on. Priced in the mid four figures. Update 2/10/15- After a full evaluation of Zara, it seems as though she would be best suited for and happiest in the jumper ring. She is extremely bold to the fences (will jump anything that’s put in front of her) and is more of a forward ride. Because of her forward gate, Zara would not be a good mount for small children or timid riders. She would, however, be perfect for someone looking to compete in the jumpers on the local circuit as she is fast, turns quickly, and is careful not to hit rails.
