10 yr old, 14.3H, Registered Pinto Mare

Okie is a very gentle "people" horse. I've owned her for almost five years. She has been a great broodmare, throwing beautiful, healthy foals. She has had most of her training in Western however, I wouldn't describe her as a smooth reiner. Since my intention was to ride her English, I didn't work on this. I don't think it would take much since she responds readily to leg and seat pressure. She is well - mannered and easy - going. Although she is short and square, she has a long, sweeping, flat - kneed stride and has just enough angle in her cannon bone to make her very comfortable at all gaits. She is predominately dark bay with a bald face, white splashes, tall white stockings and blue eyes. She is a sound, healthy horse that has quiet and good tempered heat cycles. She would make a great companion, show horse and broodmare.
